I write these articles on my experience working on hundreds of film cameras over the years. From 2019 to 2024 I made a business of buying and selling all kinds of film cameras and over that time I’ve learned a lot of things about them. I also shoot a lot as I’ve recently produced a photography book and shot the front cover for Big Issue North.
Over this time I’ve worked with most varieties of colour film and I’ve shot with most major film cameras. This experience is invaluable when reviewing film cameras and giving my best advice!
I continue to read as much as I can about photography, photography techniques and film cameras while also getting out into the real word to put theory into practice.
I’ve also been making videos on film photography for years and I’m growing in that space.
